The Literal Booker Legacy - Generation 9, Chapter 4: Hold me Closer, Tiny Dancer

So, remember when I said in the previous chapter that this one would be the last...

Yeah. I didn't realise how many photos I would take between then and now so there's actually another chapter after this!

Anyway, so far in this generation, Dante and Phil got married and had 3 wonderful boys, Murakami, Kwan, and Kim.

The Literal Booker Legacy - The College Years: Part 2, Stargazers

Hello and welcome back to The Literal Booker Legacy!

This is the final chapter of Generation 8 and after this we'll be moving onto Joyce and Alcott's stories and then officially starting Generation 9! Can you believe we've come this far already? I can't!

When we last left Tes and Dante, both were having success at college, garnering GPAs of 4.0's each. Tes was being her wild child self and living her romance aspiration fantasy and Dante was getting close to a classmate of his, which ended up concluding in a sudden kiss.

Let's see where things go from here!

The Literal Booker Legacy - Generation 8, Chapter 4: Moving On

Welcome back to The Literal Booker Legacy!

This is the last chapter of the 8th generation before they go to college! How exciting!

I am also putting an heir poll up for this generation because I am genuinely torn between who to pick as heir. I'm leaving the choice up to you, lovely readers <3

The Literal Booker Legacy - Generation 8, Chapter 3: Best Friends

Hello and welcome back to The Literal Booker Legacy!

Previously, Christie and Blair got married, my game imploded, everyone was rebuilt and a few elder Bookers were killed off unceremoniously to get back those platinum graves, Christie then gave birth to two kids: Waters and Dante.

Let's read on!

The Literal Booker Legacy - Generation 8, Chapter 2: Closer

Welcome back to The Literal Booker Legacy!

Previously we lost all of my progress due to corruption and had to start over again. Nothing of total importance was completely lost, we still have our Booker graves and our heir portraits and Eliot and Christie are still intact.

When we left the last chapter, Christie was about ready to pop her first gen 8 baby out!

Let’s continue to see who our potential heir or heiress could be!

The Literal Booker Legacy - Generation 8, Chapter 1: Ch-ch-changes!

Welcome back to The Literal Booker Legacy! We are finally at generation 8!

A quick recap for everyone:

So, Yvonne Booker was our beloved founder and she married her college sweetheart, Andrea Benson. They had two daughters, Wynne (Diana Wynne Jones) and Austen (Jane Austen).

Austen was chosen as heiress and she married her high school sweetheart, Cherry Tan. Together they had four children: Bronte (The Bronte Sisters – Emily, Charlotte, Anne), Hardy (Thomas Hardy), Lawrence (D.H. Lawrence), and Atwood (Margaret Atwood).

Bronte and Atwood were tied at the heir poll and Bronte was ultimately chosen by me. Bronte ruled her generation singlehandedly, giving birth to Ellis (Bret Easton Ellis) and Shelley (Mary Shelley).

I chose Shelley as heiress and she married her high school sweetheart, Heath Butler, and they had three children: Angelou (Maya Angelou), Morrison (Toni Morrison), and Baldwin (James Baldwin).

Baldwin won the heir poll, becoming the first male heir of the legacy! Baldwin married Serdar Shaikh, who he met at college, and they produced the first all-male generation – Dickens (Charles Dickens) and Wilde (Oscar Wilde). Unfortunately both Wilde and Dickens were face clones but Wilde won the heirship anyway.

Wilde married Lilly Do after having difficulty in finding a wife. Together, Wilde and Lilly brought another four Bookers into the legacy: Gaiman (Neil Gaiman), Eliot (George Eliot), Du Maurier (Daphne du Maurier), and Ryman (Geoff Ryman), the only alien to appear in the legacy so far.

Eliot won the heirship poll by a landslide and she married her college beau, Bruce Shweber. They had three children, Joyce (James Joyce), Alcott (Louisa May Alcott), and Christie (Agatha Christie).

Which brings us to this chapter, introducing Christie Booker and her fiancé, Blair Thorne, as they return back to the house to bring in generation 8. Are you ready?

Let’s go!

The Literal Booker Legacy - The College Years: Part 1, I Want You

Hello and welcome back to The Literal Booker Legacy! Today's chapter title is brought to you by SHINee's 2018 hit, I Want You (The title track on one out of four albums they sold that year!!), not the Savage Garden song of the same name (which is actually my favourite song of all time LOLOL).

I've been on a SHINee binge lately, even listening to their newest album despite the fact it's still difficult to listen to them as a four. I've been listening to them whilst I sim and whilst I write and edit chapters, and edit photos.

I still miss Jonghyun a lot. Ha. A lot.

Anyway, enough sadness, this chapter is nothing but light-hearted so let's enjoy!

I also hope you guys are staying safe during this pandemic.

The Literal Booker Legacy - Generation 7, Chapter 3: So Goodbye, Don't Cry, and Smile

Hello and welcome back to The Literal Booker Legacy. Today's chapter title is taken from Jonghyun's OST song from City Hunter called So Goodbye.

I won't link it because just looking at the video on youtube brings me to tears but unfortunately, I was in a bit of a miserable mood writing this chapter, so the title alone should tell you about what happens in this chapter.

With that foreboding warning, let's get on with the chapter.

The Literal Booker Legacy - Generation 7, Chapter 2: And Then There Were Three...

Hello and welcome back to The Literal Booker Legacy!!

I hope you are all staying safe through this outbreak! If you're self-isolating, try to keep yourself occupied to prevent stir-craziness! (Like in TS3 when your sims were in their houses too long? Man, I kinda miss that kinda thing about TS3, it's a shame the game's super buggy on my laptop ;;)

Previously: Eliot and Bruce became the next reigning couple and had a back-yard wedding. Immediately afterwards, Eliot discovered she was expecting their first child... Which turned out to be children as I am riddled with twins. She gave birth to a boy, Joyce (James Joyce) and Alcott (Louisa May Alcott).

When we left, Eliot was expecting her third and final child! Shall we continue with the story and see what happens this time?

Let's read on!
